It lives! Like Frankenstein’s monster, our rat rod project has emerged blinking into the daylight… and what an amazing beast it is. There’s just a taster on the cover of what’s to be unveiled inside, and there’s plenty in these pages to whet the custom bike builder’s appetite for braving the chill of the shed over the forthcoming winter months.

We’ve got a sneak peek at the new 2017 touring Harleys, look back at some of the finest rallies and events known to the civilised world (Ogri Rally, Bulldog Bash, Vinefest, Ilfracombe Bike Show, Star & Garter Sunday, Mablethorpe sand-racing) and meet up with brothers who’ve got identical bikes, built by one of the siblings. We’d say it was a Triumph, but there are two of them…

There’s only one Clive at So Low Choppers, though… one who’s proud as a peacock with his gloriously iridescent Shovelhead. Glorious is also the word for Gary Currier’s Norton Atlas cafe racer – and we’ve also unearthed a stonking H-D Sportster bobber for your delight. Editor Nik heads off with some mates to Scotland and… guess what? He gets wet. No, really!

News, views, products and more goodies await, and Rick Hulse’s take on parent and toddler parking will make you think twice about putting your festive groceries in a supermarket trolley…

For those of you looking ahead to 2017, the December issue features a cool calendar with some amazing pictures to drool over.
