Carole Nash, has announced that it is once again supporting national Ride To Work Week.

Organised by the Motorcycle Industry Association (MCIA) and now entering its 17th year, Ride To Work Week (15-21 June) is a nationwide initiative designed to demonstrate that life would be better if more people rode motorcycles and scooters every day, with time savings, less congestion and reduced travel costs.

With thousands of bikers expected to take to the roads in support, Carole Nash is also throwing its might behind the project by offering all existing policyholders free of charge commuting cover for Ride to Work Day on Monday 15 June. It is hoped that the goodwill gesture will encourage as many riders as possible to take to the road in celebration.

Carole Nash’s Products and Marketing Director, Nick Baker, said: “Carole Nash is 100% dedicated to supporting UK and Irish bikers, and Ride To Work is just one of many examples of how we are there for bikers.  We see this as an excellent opportunity to showcase the many benefits of biking. We’re always keen to provide added value for our policyholders and we’ll be encouraging as many as possible to take part to which there’s now no excuse not to.”

The Manchester-based insurance broker also has a number of other events planned for Ride To Work Week, which last year saw them work with the world famous White Helmets who donned their city suits and quite literally brought London to a standstill with a dazzling public display.

Stevie Muir, from the MCIA, said: Carole Nash is a very active and highly valued member of the Motorcycle Industry Association and is always fully supportive of initiatives that promote greater motorcycle use and improved safety.

“Ride To Work Week seems to have become a regular fixture in the Carole Nash calendar with staff members also taking part in last year’s ‘City Challenge’, which showed how riding a motorcycle is the best way of cutting through traffic on a commute into Manchester and anywhere else in the country.”
