Get in Gear for a Great Bank Holiday Weekend at Ripon Racecourse

FOR the last time this year, Mark Woodard hosts his Classic Car and Bike Show, so fans of vintage vehicles should make their way to Ripon Racecourse near York whilst they can.

On Bank Holiday Sunday August 27th auto aficionados from all over the North are invited to come along and enjoy the Ripon Autumn Classic Car and Bike Show for one last time.

Taking place from 10am to 4pm, the show – which costs just £6.50 for adults and £2.50 for children – promises to be a real feast for the eyes and ears of all nostalgia fans. Family visitors can bring their dog (as long as he or she is on a lead and well-behaved!) and there’s free parking for everyone.

With all the usual favourites that make the Ripon show so popular, visitors will be treated to large displays of classic cars, motorcycles, vans, trucks, ex-military vehicles and a classic Land Rover display.

You can also look forward to commentary in the arena and there’s the chance to chat to and pick up advice from fellow classic vehicle owners. Don’t forget the event’s popular auto jumble, too, which gives you the opportunity to pick up a rare car part.

If you own a classic MG, Triumph Stag or Austin Seven you’ll want to head down to the event, with attendees and exhibitors proudly showing off their vehicles.
