Yorkshire Trikers are a bike and trike related motorcycle club, and on January 3rd 2015, with the season of goodwill still in their hearts, these generous souls from Yorkshire Trikers braved the cold weather to present cheques to their two chosen charities – Yorkshire Air Ambulance, and Soldiers Off The Streets. They raised £650 to each charity.

This notable achievement was raised by holding their annual bike and trike rally the “Vosa Rejects Rally” which is held at Breighton Ferry Public House at Breighton, Nr Selby. It takes a lot of work to organise and run this type of full weekend event  and it’s all down to volunteers giving up their time. The proceeds pay for the actual cost of putting on the event then the rest is split between the two nominated charities for that year.

Their fund raising continues through the year raising more money for the nominated charities and they will be busy preparing to hold their rally again this year, August 14 – 16th at the same venue. They also support events organised by other clubs to raise much needed money for other charities, by turning up and putting their machines on show for the public to see.

We’re a very generous lot, us bikers & trikers 😉
