Kickback 16-17 April – Update

Latest display bikes all set for KICKBACK

So right now we have around 100 custom-made motorcycles all set for KICKBACK at Stoneleigh Park 16-17th April.

Airbrushing: come and have a go!

What do you mean you’ve never had a go at airbrushing? Well now’s your chance. David Addis runs Flakey’s Custom Paint Studio and he is bringing all his equipment over to KICKBACK and setting up a studio in the main foyer. Airbrushing is quite some skill and you can give it a go, what could possibly go wrong? Below is a selection of Dave’s work. He’s got rather good at it.

KICKBACK #8 View the bikes, hear the bikes and… watch them rip around hall two!

Let’s face it, looking at and scrutinizing custom motorcycles is great fun and most satisfying; it’s also thought-provoking and, for many builders, motivating and inspirational. KICKBACK – the national custom bike show – is the platform for the UK’s custom scene…and in April, at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire, some of the bikes will be fired up and ripping around one of the exhibition halls!

Throughout the two days of the show, visitors will be able to enjoy watching a collection of vintage flat trackers, café racers and drag bikes hurtling around inside Hall 2. These live displays will take place in-between the stunt shows performed by the Two Brothers Stunt & Racing Team.

Meanwhile in the relative peace and quiet of the main hall there will be over one-hundred, stylish, custom-made bikes to drool over; KICKBACK is also hosting the National Championship of Custom Bike Building. It’s custom motorcycling nirvana…

Britain’s finest and most talented motorcycle and custom engineers, designers and fabricators will be displaying their works of art at The KICKBACK Motorcycle Show at Stoneleigh Park, near Coventry from 16-17th April 2016.

There will be a superb collection of custom-made motorcycles on display and all bikes will be accompanied by a magnificent cast of master (and young) builders.

KICKBACK is a two-day exhibition celebrating the very best of British engineering and design, it will also play host to the National Championship of Custom Bike Building, a

competition between the builders to see who are the finest custom bike builders in the UK!

One of the categories of the competition is Young Builder; a class specifically dedicated to encourage and support up-and-coming bike customizers and designers under the age of 30.

There will be over 100 stunning and original motorcycles on display and the awards ceremony takes place on the Sunday at 4pm on the main stage.

Live music and awards ceremony…

There will be plenty to see and do at KICKBACK such as the awards ceremony for the Custom Bike Building National Championships which will be taking place on the main stage from 4pm on the Sunday (17th April).

You will all be able to witness the presentations to the winning builders with categories that include Young Builder (sponsored by Lamb Engineering), Freestyle (sponsored by 100% Biker), Modern – Retro Café/Tracker, Best Street Cub (sponsored by Outdoor365), Performance Custom (sponsored by Worldwide Bomber Magazine), overall Best in Show (sponsored by Sickboyz Customs) plus Best Raw Build (for engineered customs with no paintwork or powder coating, sponsored by Rocket Bobs Cycle Works).

If you’re staying over to enjoy the whole weekend, on the Saturday night (16th April) you’ll be able to enjoy a few beers and catch the live music. There’s a hotel and camping facilities onsite, plus a fabulous, newly constructed café, bar, shop area for those staying over.

There will be an exhibition showcase of the UK’s most imaginative custom-engineered bikes, choppers, café racers and streetfighters plus many vendors and retailers with bike accessories, parts, apparel and lifestyle products.

Parking at KICKBACK is free and if you rock up on your bike you will be able to park alongside the main show entrance, which is always cool!

KICKBACK is all about showcasing the ever-changing and dynamic custom scene; fully embracing the vibrant ‘new wave’ whilst being inspired by the creators of exquisite café bikes and street scramblers. KICKBACK is an exhibition of custom motorbikes, where sheer imagination meets pure engineering excellence.
