Norton unveils new generation Commando 961 SP and CR

Norton Motorcycles has unveiled its new generation Commando 961 SP and CR – the best Commando ever produced.

Made in their state-of-the-art, multi-million-pound facility in Solihull, both versions’re powered by an air/oil-cooled 961cc parallel twin, which develops 76.8bhp @7250rpm and 81Nm @6300rpm, and utilises 43mm Öhlins USD forks (adjustable for preload, compression and rebound damping), a twin-shock rear set-up, again by Öhlins, Brembo radial calipers, electronic analogue speedometer and tachometer, 300W high-output charging system, and’re available in two colour options (Matrix Black and Manx Platinum). 

Norton’re fulfilling orders for the previous iteration of the Commando 961, the Classic, and’ve promised to fulfil the orders of those individuals yet to receive a motorcycle.
